FlashForward Gets a Full Season Order! PDF Print E-mail
FlashForward - News

After only three episodes have aired, FlashForward has already gotten a 22-episode order from ABC! The premiere of FlashFoward was the first scripted show since Friends to beat CBS's Survivor. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "When factoring DVR viewership, "FlashForward" gained a larger number (0.8) than any other freshman series." You can also see the full premiere week DVR analysis there. According toTV.com ABC has said that FlashForward has the potential to be a long-running series, as the producers have said they already have a few seasons' worth of material. I'm curious to see how the story will pan out considering the current timeline on the show, April 29th is sure to come around before then, at least as fans we can hope so, unless they decided to go the route of Lost and tease us for a few years.

Site Updates - Sci-Fi Vision

Finally the day has come. I got joomla to work for the most part, so now the new site is live. For any of you visiting for the first time, please realize that this is a new version of my old site so there isn't going to be much back news (except in concern to my own articles), so most categories are pretty empty yet but will grow as I add news. There are a few kinks yet - the forum isn't done and there are a few things I need to add, like a FAQ and more items need added to the latest photos. That and I have a published article to add yet (Sanctuary interview) and I need to make templates for each section (ie see Fringe). But since the site pretty much is complete I wanted to go ahead and make it live so everyone can start enjoying it. This way it is a lot easier to add news and organize it so I can update easily and quickly! Now all I have to do is update my journals to tell that the site is up...

Site setup is pretty self explanitory - I have grouped together all of my published articles, interviews, reviews, etc. I will also have up non-published stuff soon too (like all the recaps I right before the podcasts each week and never upload, they're coming). But for now I think all the important stuff is there. If you see any errors please let me know. For now I'm keeping the full "about" article at the top. The only other thing really I can say is that if you click the "more articles" links on the right sidebar it takes you to list view and you are better just looking at the published articles link. I'm trying to figure out how to change that as well as a few other problems I'm having.

Enjoy:)

The Stargate saga continues on Friday night with the premiere of the new original Syfy series, Stargate Universe. While it does continue the story line from previous Stargate series, dealing with the activation of the 9th Chevron, the new series feels fresh and exciting, and a lot different from the previous shows.

The Stargate phenomena first started on film in 1994 and then on television in 1997 with Stargate SG-1, and in 2002 was picked up by Syfy (formally Sci Fi) who made it their own and the series continued for a total of ten seasons, as well as some post series movies. The show focused on a team of a soldier, an astrophysicist, a civilian scientist, and an alien, who used a Stargate to travel to planets outside our own solar system. Towards the end of the original series, the scientists of Stargate discovered a use for the eighth chevron on the gate – to travel to Atlantis in the Pegasus Galaxy. Thus became the spin off of Stargate: Atlantis. For years the ninth Chevron was not mentioned, until now. If activated the ninth chevron could take them far beyond that of the Pegasus Galaxy. Stargate Universe was born.

Michael Rosenbaum is probably best known for his role as Lex Luthor on the popular television series Smallville, but he has many credits to his name.  He has appeared in series such as It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and in a number of movies such as Sweet November and Sorority Boys, as well as the upcoming Father of Invention, which will be released in the spring.  Rosenbaum has also done voice work for shows such as Adventures of Jackie Chan and Justice League, as well as voicing the lead character for the video game Dark Sector.
